Welcome to my Personal Page!
It's that time of year again and I could really use your support. The time has come for the Breakthrough for Brain Tumors walk for 2017. This year, we are again walking in memory of my brother-in-law, Craig Mann as well as a friend of mine who was diagnosed two years ago. Craig lost his determined fight on December 23, 2011, his 57th birthday. After two surgeries and extensive treatments, his body finally said no more. He fought a determined fight all the way through. We miss him and think of him every single day. As I mentioned, a good friend of mine endured a 12 hour surgery to remove a large tumor from his brain. Luckily, it was benign and he continues to be on his road to recovery. The list keeps growing and we need to find a cure.
But it's because of Craig and my dear friend that we are equally determined to do what we can to help find a cure for this disease. We will be walking the 5k at Soldier Field on Sunday, April 23 and hope we can count on you for your support. You can suppost us either by joining Craig's Corner team and walking with us or you can make a donation to the American Brain Tumor Association and clicking on the support tabs to the right.
Thank you in advance for your help and support with our efforts in supporting the American Brain Tumor Association.
About the American Brain Tumor Association
Founded in Chicago in 1973, ABTA was the first national, nonprofit organization dedicated solely to brain tumors. Today, ABTA is a leader in research, education and support. In 2008, ABTA awarded more than $2.6 million to brain tumor researchers searching for better treatments, and ultimately, a cure, and more than 1.3 million services and resources to brain tumor patients and their families.
