Losing a friend to a brain tumor is a life changing experience. There isn't any way to describe it. The ups the downs, the hopes, the fear, the loss.
This is Ed's & my 7th year, participating in honor of our friend, Craig. We do this mostly for the people he left behind & we do this in the hope that monies raised will make a difference in helping find a way to treat & cure. Craig's courage & the courage of his family are both something that we will never forget....but Life does go on & his family is so brave! We still believe that If this walk could change the outcome for ONE person with a brain tumor & their family isn't that worth it?!!??
Proceeds from this event provide critical funding for brain tumor research and for supportive patient care. Believe me, I have witnessed these resources at work, firsthand, as Craig so bravely fought his disease for two and a half years.

About the American Brain Tumor Association
Founded in 1973, the American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA) was the first national nonprofit organization dedicated solely to brain tumors. For nearly 40 years, the Chicago-based ABTA has provided critical funding to researchers working toward breakthroughs in brain tumor diagnosis, treatment and care, and is the only national organization providing comprehensive resources and serving the complex supportive care needs of brain tumor patients and caregivers from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.
