Thanks for visiting the Mick's Mighty Mob 2017 Breakthrough for brain tumors personal fundraising page. We've committed to participating in the ABTA Run/Walk on April 23, 2017, and fundraising for this worthwhile organization. The money we raise will help support the research and patient/family support programs of ABTA. We will be participating with thousands of others in this amazing and successful event. The American Brain Tumor Association is a source of support and up to date information on the treatment of brain tumors.
This is the 12th year that our team will be participating in the ABTA's walk/run event. The first time was just under a year after Mick was diagnosed with a brain tumor. He has been through radiation and chemo (twice) for his tumor. At Mick's next follow up appointment we are hoping and praying that his tumor is stable. This year Mick and I have been asked to share our experience with the attendees at the event. What an honor!
The ABTA has vast amounts of information and support available that we have been able to take advantage of. Without the generous donations they would not be able to hold the patient and family conferences that discuss the latest brain tumor research trends and finding, new and emerging treatment options, and patient/caregiver quality of life issues and hopefully some day soon leads to a cure.
I hope I can count on your support. No matter how small or large the amount, every dollar counts! You can make a donation to my fundraising campaign here by clicking on the Support box at the upper right-hand side of my page. If you prefer to write a check, just contact me.
