BT5K 2017: Chicago 04/23/2017

2017 BT5K Chicago

Molzahn's Marchers

Each day, 500 people will be diagnosed with a brain tumor. To show our support our team, Molzahn's Marchers, from North Shore Country Day School, will be participating in the BT5K Chicago Breakthrough for Brain Tumors Run & Walk, an inspiring and fun event benefiting the American Brain Tumor Association. Money raised by the BT5K will provide critical funding for brain tumor research and for supportive patient care.

Molzahn's Marchers are walking in memory of our dear friend and colleague, Vanessa Molzahn, who passed away in August of 2016. Vanessa was a brilliant and compassionate teacher, a loving and devoted mother and wife, and a caring and genuine friend. She faced the challenge of her brain tumor as she did so many things in life - with tremendous courage, a positive attitude, and a sense of humor. We walk in Vanessa's honor to raise funds for brain tumor research and for supportive care for patients and their families, but also to celebrate her beautiful and courageous spirit.

The more the merrier! We are inviting all our friends, family and colleagues to join our team in support of the nearly 700,000 people currently living with a brain tumor. You can join my team by clicking the join button on the right.

If you can’t make it to the BT5K Chicago on April 23, 2017, please consider making a donation to the American Brain Tumor Association in support of the team’s efforts. Click the donate button on the right.

Thank you in advance for your support of our efforts on behalf of brain tumor patients, their families, and the researchers pursuing the breakthroughs.
