For too many years now, my family and I have been running/walking the BT5K in honor, and now in memory of my brother inlaw Greg Chapman.
This year marks the 7th anniversary of his passing. Brain cancer took his life and left behind a hole in our hearts that we all still feel today. This is more than a fundraising event, for me it is my personal tribute to Greg. Since the 7 years of his passing, Greg has missed so much.
1. Greg has missed both of his beautiful daughters graduating highschool and moving onto the next crucial stages of their lives
2. Greg has missed seeing his oldest son become a father. Has missed the birth of his granddaughter and the enjouyment and magic of being a grandparent
3. Greg has missed his eldest neice becoming a first time mom and celebrating the joy of life
Greg - You are always in my thoughts and in my heart. So often Brian and I will remember a moment shared with you and laugh, and then often cry. You were so possitive and joyful! When you were near the end of your life you did not flinch away from it, but instead, helped us understand you were going to be OK and at peace. You would be so proud of your amazing son who has grown into a good man. Your daughters are equally amazing and make me smile with pride! We all love you and miss you so much.
