As you all know, my daughter, Kristi, was an inspiration to me, family, friends, and colleagues as she lived with a brain tumor for almost ten years. She lived her life with hope and dignity.
It is extremely important to continue research to determine causes and then cures for primary brain tumors. For that reason, I will continue to honor her memory as long as I am physically able to travel to Chicago and to "walk" alone or with her team as well as brain tumor survivors and families of those who lost their battle to a brain tumor.
May the way in which Kristi lived her life be an inspiration to you and especially to brain tumor survivors and their loved ones.
"Kristi's Loving Life Team" raised more than $12,000 in 2018. I would be grateful if you would support me as I walk as a member of Kristi's Loving Life Team. Click on the DONATE NOW button to the right to donate safely and securely online.
Your donation not only supports brain tumor patients and their families but it also supports the breakthrough research to improve, extend and ultimately save lives.
And remember, your donation is tax-deductible! You can learn more about the American Brain Tumor Association at www.ABTA.org.
Thank you in advance for your support of my efforts on behalf of brain tumor patients, their families and the researchers pursuing the breakthroughs.
Remember to live each day to the fullest, to tell someone each day that you love him or her, and to always ask "What Next" and not "Why Me"?
About the American Brain Tumor Association
Founded in 1973, the American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA) was the first national nonprofit organization dedicated solely to brain tumors. For nearly 40 years, the Chicago-based ABTA has provided critical funding to researchers working toward breakthroughs in brain tumor diagnosis, treatment and care, and is the only national organization providing comprehensive resources and serving the complex supportive care needs of brain tumor patients and caregivers from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.
