Dear Friends and Family,
As many of you are aware, my son, Michael's wife, Grace Oliver, bravely and courageously fought brain cancer. She was diagnosed back in July of 2012 and waged a very tough battle through a couple of surgeries and many different treatment regimens. Although Grace is no longer with us, she continues to be a source of inspiration for all of us, especially Michael.
In memory of Grace and others who are bravely fighting this disease, our family is seeking your support for the upcoming American Brain Tumor Association 5k Walk/Run that is occurring this April 24th at Soldier Field.
The Daday family and especially Michael and Grace's family would appreciate your help in this fundraising effort and/or join in on the event. Below I have included the link to the page that explains the event, fundraising details, and answers to most other questions.
Any financial support, participation and especially your continued prayers are appreciated.
If you are able to participate, the pre registration deadline is on April 18th and includes a T-shirt and I believe based on the donations we have already gotten our team will have our own tent with drinks/snacks and other small perks.
Thank you for the taking time. Michael, Grace and the entire Daday family appreciate the support.
Eileen and Steve Daday
Each day 500 people will be diagnosed with a brain tumor. This is why I will be participating in the American Brain Tumor Association’s Breakthrough for Brain Tumors 5K Run & Walk. Each year, the Breakthrough for Brain Tumors 5K Run & Walk provides critical funding for brain tumor research and for supportive patient care.
I am participating and fundraising to maintain and strengthen the critical resources that make such a profound difference in the lives of brain tumor patients and their families.
You can support me in my efforts by making a donation to the American Brain Tumor Association.
Click on the Make a Donation! or the Support button by my Fundraising Meter to donate safely and securely online.
Your donation not only supports brain tumor patients and their families but it also supports the breakthrough research to improve, extend and ultimately save lives.
If you prefer to mail your donation, download the donation sheet under the donor info tab.
And remember, your donation is tax-deductible! You can learn more about the American Brain Tumor Association at www.abta.org.
Thank you in advance for your support of my efforts on behalf of brain tumor patients, their families and the researchers pursuing the breakthroughs.
