Greetings! It's a new year, and new ABTA day! The need to stay strong, and support those who suffer from Brain Tumors is as great as ever. Last year, a great college friend, Bret Schaffner, lost his multi year/multi occurrence struggle with a Brain Tumor. But, Bret's approach was unique and encouraging. In his own words:
"Let's try it, even if it doesn't help me, the research will improve others' chance of survival"
Bret cared about all of those around him, and cared enough to encourage us to continue the walk and run for finding cures, even after he left us.
I have had 10 friend either survive or succumb to brain tumors. Let's work to make the next case a survivor! Join our team, walk or run with us in Columbus, but above all, support the many who need your help! I will see you all at the finish line!
