My family is once again honoring the memory of my amazing father--Peter Redebaugh--by participating in the American Brain Tumor Association's BT5K Breakthrough for Brian Tumors Run & Walk. He was diagnosed with Glioblastoma--a deadly form of brain cancer-- in May 2015. He remained positive and strong throughout two surgeries, treatment and a clinical trial. He passed away on June 25, 2016.
My Dad (known to his buddies as "Big Red") was an incredible man who loved his family fiercely, enjoyed good times with his friends, and always helped those in need. He was one of a kind and we miss him every day.
AN IMPORTANT NOTE: This year we will be out of town the weekend of the Michigan walk, SO... family members and I have decided to walk in the Chicago BT5K on Sunday, April 22. We would love for you to donate to this worthy cause.
Even though you won’t be in Chicago, you can still be a Team Big Red member by joining our team as a "VIRTUAL WALKER". You can still be a part of the team in spirit! Then join us back in Michigan at our house on Saturday April 28th for a Team Big Red celebration!
Click on “Donate Now” to donate safely and securely. Or click on "Join Team" to join as a "Virtual Walker."
Each day, 500 people will be diagnosed with a brain tumor. Money raised by the BT5K will provide critical funding for brain tumor research and for supportive care.
Your donation not only supports brain tumor patients and their families but it also supports the breakthrough research to improve, extend and ultimately save lives.
And remember, your donation is tax-deductible! You can learn more about the American Brain Tumor Association at www.abta.org. Thank you in advance for your support of my efforts on behalf of brain tumor patients, their families, and the researchers pursuing the breakthroughs.
