On July 21, 2016, my life was changed forever. On that day my husband Dennis was diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma, an aggressive and devastatingly lethal cancer. After a grueling 10 month fight, I lost the love of my life.
Each day, 500 people will be diagnosed with a brain tumor. After what my family suffered, my dream is that no one ever lose their loved one to brain cancer ever again. To that end, I will be participating in the American Brain Tumor Association’s BT5K Breakthrough for Brain Tumors Run & Walk. Money raised by the BT5K will provide critical funding for brain tumor research and for supportive patient care.
You can support me in my efforts and honor Dennis by making a donation to the American Brain Tumor Association.
