Over a year ago a good friend of mine, Tim Reichenbach was diagnosed with glioblastoma, a particularly challenging type of brain cancer. Tim is young, healthy, an enaged father and husband, a hard worker and a generous friend. He has a lot to live for, and every reason to be bitter and negative about his diagnoses. However, Tim has faced his disease with courage, grace and resolve. He has endured surgeries, chemotherapy and experimental treatments, all while continuing to work, to run and to attend soccer games, graduations and the events that come with family life.
Tim has organized a team to run in this year's Brain Tumor 5K in Minneapolis. The race and the team will raise funds and awareness to help and beat this disease. I plan to run again this year, and hope that you will consider a donation to support the effort and the cause. Your gift is tax deductible, and is greatly appreciateed by Tim, by me and by the millions who suffer and the millions more who will be diagnosed with brain tumors.
Thank you so much for your time and for your consideration.
