Each day, 500 people will be diagnosed with a brain tumor. This year, I have had the pleasure to join the planning committee for the Columbus BT5K Breakthrough for Brain Tumors 5K Run & Walk, supporting the American Brain Tumor Association. Money raised by the BT5K will provide critical funding for brain tumor research and for supportive patient care.
In recent years, I have known two people who have courageously battled with brain tumors: Bret Shaffner, a college roommate & fraternity brother, and Dave Constantinovich, an AEP colleague.
