We are proud to announce that we are participating in the American Brain Tumor Association’s BT5K Michigan Breakthrough for Brain Tumors Run & Walk on Saturday, May 12, 2018 in Milford, MI.
Our team name is Vaeh's Victors - as we will walk alongside my niece, Nevaeh, who continues to bravely battle against her brain tumor diagnosis. Right now, nearly 700,000 people are living with a brain tumor diagnosis and each day another 500 are diagnosed. In the United States, more than 28,000 children and teenagers are living with the diagnosis of a primary brain tumor. There are about 13 new cases a day.
We have set personal fundraising goals of $120 each for the five participants on our team. This amount represents the 120 different types of known brain tumors. Therefore our total fundraising goal is $600. We are asking for your support. Please consider helping us reach or exceed our goal. Even donating just $5-10 can go a long way!
Funds raised for the BT5K Michigan Breakthrough for Brain Tumors Run & Walk will benefit the American Brain Tumor Association, which funds valuable research projects, as well as patient and caregiver resources and programs for those affected by a brain tumor diagnosis. Thank you for your time and consideration and for your support of the American Brain Tumor Association.
Thank you for your support!
