Team Roy will be participating in the BT5K Michigan Breakthrough for Brain Tumors Run & Walk, an inspiring and fun event benefitting the American Brain Tumor Association.
Team Roy is in honor of my dad, Roy Jacob. Dad was a man of few words, but it was always a treat when we got to hear from him. Between his one liners (which were always making fun of me), to his knowledge on any subject, he was truly one of a kind. You could always find him reading something whether it be a chemical journal or the WSJ. He was incredibly hardworking and always reminded us to do the same. On May 14, 2012, after battling brain cancer for almost 2 1/2 years, he passed away. It was devastating to our family, immediate and extended, but we remember him every day. For the the last four years we have participated in the BT5k in his honor. Join us as we run/walk to help rasie money to find a cure!
