Laurie’s Legions is a team participating in the BT5K Twin Cities Breakthrough for Brain Tumors Run & Walk, an inspiring and fun event benefiting the American Brain Tumor Association. Laurie Kumerow was diagnosed with glioblastoma, a type of brain cancer, in October 2107. Her initial surgery anniversary is the date of this walk, October 13!
JOIN THE TEAM!
The more the merrier! We are inviting all of our family and friends to join Laurie’s team in support of all people currently living with a brain tumor, including Laurie. We are hoping to get a big group of people together for the walk! You can join our team by clicking the join button on the right (or below if on mobile). We plan to walk (not run) this event to make it more inclusive. We will be in contact with everyone who joins the team so you’ll get updates on details, like where to meet, etc. When registering for the walk you’ll get to set your own fundraising goal, which is also counted into our team’s total. You’ll be able to ask friends and family for donations, but definitely aren’t required to. Your presence at the walk is a great contribution in itself and your registration fee counts toward our total.
If you can’t make it to the BT5K Twin Cities on October 13, 2018, please consider making a donation to the American Brain Tumor Association in support of the team’s efforts. Click the donate button on the right/bottom.
Thank you in advance for your support of Laurie Kumerow and all brain tumor patients!
