Team Hope

Dear Family and Friends,

This year, Team Hope is STRONGER THAN EVER, comprised of TWO FAMILIES - the SCHAFER Familiy AND the SMITH Family.

The Schafer Family is composed of Juliana (a 14-1/2 year survivor of a grade II oligodendroglioma), Chad and Izzy. The Smith Famiy is made up of Ned (a newly diagnosed survivor of a grade IV glioblastoma), Erin, Finn, Beckett, Eliza and Cecily. Our families have been friends for more than 11 years through a playgroup set-up, and we are so happy to support one in another in this very difficult battle.

We are even more motivated to raise as much money as possible and field the biggest team we can!! Please join Team Hope by walking or running with us on SATURDAY, April 13, 2019 in the morning at the Soldier Field Stadium Green in Chicago, and/or by donating to our team.

JOIN TEAM HOPE!

Please join the SCHAFER and SMITH families at this year's 5k run/walk on the morning of Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Soldier Field. Help us support the nearly 700,000 people currently living with a brain tumor. You can join our team (Team Hope) by clicking the "Join Our Team" button on the right.

Thank you so much for supporting our efforts on behalf of brain tumor patients, their families, and the researchers pursuing the breakthroughs.

Juliana, Chad, Ned, Erin, and kids

P.S. - Come for the program just before the race begins to see Izzy sing the national anthem with her cousin, Lauren Sadkin!!!
