Our amazing Grace was diagnosed with brain cancer when she was just 21 years old in the summer of 2012 and lost her fight in July 2015, six days following her wedding. Throughout her illness she continually sought out ways to help others in similar situations through support groups, blogging her personal experiences and willingly participating in clinical research trials knowing the risk to herself for the sake of others. In honor of Grace's battle with brain cancer and the thousands of others who battle this insidious disease, we are continuing her fight for a breakthrough every year. This is our 6th consecutive year as a team and we invite you to join our celebration of Grace's life!
My team will be participating in the BT5K Chicago Breakthrough for Brain Tumors Run & Walk, an inspiring and fun event benefitting the American Brain Tumor Association.
