I am running the 2019 Chicago Marathon on October 13 with the American Brain Tumor Association’s (ABTA) Team Breakthrough team.
I am running and fundraising in honor of my mom and for the 500 people diagnosed each day with a brain tumor. My mom was diagnosed at age 59 with stage IV glioblastoma. I miss her everyday, so I run because I can and because it's how I can make a difference against this disease and for those fighting it.
This tax-deductible donation is for the ABTA and provides critical funding for brain tumor research and for supportive patient care. You can learn more about the American Brain Tumor Association at www.abta.org.
Thank you in advance for your support of my efforts on behalf of brain tumor patients, their families, and the researchers pursuing the breakthroughs. I look forward to the journey and helping this important cause with your help. We got this!
