Joy, energy, love, smiles, friendship. Grace was all these things and more. For almost 10 years, Grace and I were inseperable. From dance to school, sports to wild Friday nights on Warner, we did it all. Grace has taught me and contuines to teach me even now. Three years ago I gained a gaurdian angel that has guided me, support me and kept me safe. Grace has become my travel companion, my strength on tough days and someone who is always pushing me to be better.
Although Grace is gone, her spirit lives on in everyone that she loved and knew. For years, Grace and I would volunteer at the Chicago Marathon at a water station near Connies pizza. We always had such a blast with many other OLV kiddos. This year, Grace and I will lace up and hope we cross that finish line after 26.2 miles. I cannot imagine running this with or for anyone else. I have no doubt Grace will be there with me for every mile.
There are so many people in Chicago and the world that are stil fighting brain tumors everyday. They have the same fighting spirit, love for life and infectious smile that Grace did. In order to help those still fighting the ABTA is raising money to find new medications and treatments. Please consider donating to this cause, here on this page. If you are not able to donate, I would LOVE to have you out on the coarse on October 7th cheering Grace and I on!
Thank you in advance of your support!
Forever Full of Grace,
