Hello and Welcome!
First of all, thank you so much for showing your love and support of my journey to Chicago! As many of you know, my father was diagnosed with a brain tumor in January of 2008 and fell victim to the horrible outcome cancer can bring. Each day, 500 people will be diagnosed with a brain tumor and the results are often terminal. I plan to complete my first marathon as a part of the American Brain Tumor Association Chicago Marathon team and will be running in honor of my father and anyone else who has been affected by cancer in any shape or form.
Money raised will provide critical funding for brain tumor research and for supportive patient care. Your donation not only supports brain tumor patients and their families, but it also supports the breakthrough research to improve, extend and ultimately save lives. You can support me in my efforts by making a donation to the American Brain Tumor Association.

**Added bonus! Your donation is tax-deductible!** You can learn more about the American Brain Tumor Association at www.abta.org. Thank you in advance for your support of my efforts on behalf of brain tumor patients, their families, and the researchers pursuing the breakthroughs.
