Many of you know that recently my father in law came face to face with the reality of a brain tumor. I’m happy to say that by equal parts miracle and AMAZING team of doctors at Loyola, his encounter seems to have ended on a remarkably positive note. Others we know have not been so lucky.
BOTH scenarios – the positive and the less so – have left me driven to help in some way. I have decided to do what I can to raise money for the American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA). Money raised will provide critical funding for brain tumor research and for supportive patient care.
On October 13, 2019, I pledge to run 26.2 miles in exchange for any size donation you see fit to contribute to this cause. Your donation not only supports brain tumor patients and their families, but it also supports the breakthrough research to improve, extend and ultimately save lives. I am extremely grateful for any donation of ANY size to help this cause.
