We are a local race team who competes in regional and national level events.
We participate with Gridlife, a midwest-based racing organization, as well as other regional organizations in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Ohio. Through improvements to our car and its setup, learning from those around us, and additional experience in driving, we’ve been able to decrease our lap time by over nine seconds at our home track - Gingerman Raceway in South Haven, MI!
The cornerstone of our season is the One Lap of America: an eight day, 4000 mile, 19 event marathon that pits speed against reliability. 20% don’t finish. We finished last year, and we’re going to do even better in 2019.
Bill Robertson, Scott’s father, was our inspiration to get into car racing and put the One Lap of America in our heads. Since he died from a glioblastoma brain tumor five years ago, he hasn't been able to see or participate in what we've been able to do. We want to honor his influence and raise money to benefit the American Brain Tumor Association, in order to help other patients, their family, friends, and caregivers to continue their care, research, education, and support to fight brain cancer.
