Humor to Fight the Tumor

Now in its eleventh year, Humor to Fight the Tumor is one of the country’s premier events benefiting those living with brain tumors and those researching more effective treatments.

The goal of Humor to Fight the Tumor is move people through the power of hope and laughter to contribute to the important work of the American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA). The gala event features silent and live auctions, live comedy, dinner, and stories of determination and courage by brain tumor survivors and honorees.

By sharing stories of those affected by brain tumors—sometimes heartbreaking, always uplifting—we shine a light on the devastating effects of brain tumors. That light kindles hope, hope fuels generosity, and generosity paves the way for new treatments.

This is an annual event that highlights 4 brain tumor honorees each year. This year’s honorees are:

Finn Rolfes (age 11)
Bill Travis (age 63)
Jon Yeager (3/21/1951 – 5/21/2013)
Stacy Zwerdling (age 35)
