Please join me in honoring my late brother Jared by donating to the American Brain Tumor Association....
Each day, 500 people will be diagnosed with a brain tumor. To show my support, I will be participating in the American Brain Tumor Association’s Team Breakthrough Endurance program. Money raised will provide critical funding for brain tumor research and for supportive patient care.
You can support me in my efforts by making a donation to the American Brain Tumor Association.
Click on “Donate Now” to donate safely and securely.
Your donation not only supports brain tumor patients and their families, but it also supports the breakthrough research to improve, extend and ultimately save lives.
And remember, your donation is tax-deductible! You can learn more about the American Brain Tumor Association at www.abta.org. Thank you in advance for your support of my efforts on behalf of brain tumor patients, their families, and the researchers pursuing the breakthroughs.
My Personal Web Log
Brain Tumor Awareness Month
I wanted to post a new plea for donations on what would have been Jared's 44th birthday but this year, as it will every 7 years, it fell on Mother's Day. I just couldn't bring myself to do so. Then I learned my brother lost the ability to play gguitar before he died. I don't know how long that was but for everyone that knows by brother you can imagine what that must have been like for him. He was the kind of musician who would have given up his sight (which he did loose), food ( he did loose the ability to eat), anything not to give up playing guitar.
We didn't know about the services and research provided by ABTA. Had we, I think Jared's quality of life living with and dying from his brain tumor could have been loss horrific for all. My family is still traumatized by what happened to Jared.
So please, I'm 28% towards my goal from 4 donations! Any amount counts and you show you recognize what Jared suffered and that no one should suffer needlessly. The ABTA can make sure others get the healthcare and services they need.
